Here’s the third commandment:
3. Thou shalt..always have a pencil and or pen on your person for drawing as well as ideas that you can jot down for projects.
How many times do you get an image in your head of your character doing some awesome pose, you go for your pencil or at least a pen and you got nothing. How frustrating is that? Therefore, always carry a pencil or pen with you in your jacket pocket to draw during those dead times. It's also great to have one to jot ideas for stories, ideas, jokes or anything else you might want to jot down.
Again, let me know what you think. Would love to hear your commandments if you’ve been drawing a long time. If you haven’t what are some of the obstacles that can keep you from learning or practicing?
Also, check out my YouTube channel 10-Second Cartooning and please subscribe if you like it, I’m trying to build it up and add drawing tips as well as motivate myself to keep improving as an artist. Thanks!
